Mammalian Cell Displays Service

Mammalian cell display system is a kind of eukaryotic cell display system. The system uses mammalian cells as a carrier to introduce foreign genes into mammalian cells for expression. Mammalian cell display systems can provide recombinant human proteins with post-translational modifications that are closest to their natural state. During protein expression, protein folding and polymerization close to natural proteins will be formed, with the spatial structure and modifications necessary for active proteins. At present, it is widely used in the development and production of functional proteins, antibody production, and clinical vaccines.

Mammalian Cell Display System Services

We provide a baculovirus-insect cell display platform mainly using CHO cells, myeloma cell lines, COS cells, 293 cells expression system. In addition, according to the temporal and spatial differences in the expression of the target protein, we provide system services such as transient expression, stable cell line expression, auxotrophic cell line expression, large-scale suspension cell expression to support your innovative discovery.

The essential elements of mammalian cell expression vectors include: a highly active promoter, transcription termination sequence and an effective mRNA translation signal. According to your project needs, we can add customized marker genes, replication start point sequences, internal ribosome entry sites, etc, which achieve post-translational modification and correct protein folding and renaturation.

The mammalian cell display display service we provide is especially suitable for full-length antibodies that cannot be displayed and screened by other display systems (phage display, ribosome display, yeast surface display, baculovirus surface display).

Features of Mammalian Cell Display System

  • The mammalian cell display system can guide the correct folding of proteins and provide multiple post-translational processing functions such as complex N-type glycosylation and accurate O-type glycosylation. Therefore, the expression product is closest to natural higher biological protein molecules in terms of molecular structure, physical and chemical properties and biological functions.
  • High expression level: the vector can highly express recombinant protein in mammalian cells, and the expression level can be as high as 1-3 g/L protein expression.
  • Most of the promoters of mammalian cell display system vectors can be continuously expressed without induction, and a variety of expression systems can be selected.
  • After screening the transfected cells, continue culturing, and the expression product can be obtained in the supernatant.
